A typical .Picture property works fine if overlapped or invisible. So I thought I could leave it large, but invisible and use the standard VB Kodak (I think) picturebox control that has a zoom function. So scan at 500 DPI in the Biometrics ActiveX but don't show it. Using the .Picture property the image is copied to a standard VB control for zoomed display. But since each of the device SDK's handle images differently I was looking for code that would basically use what is being displayed in the ActiveX and not code specific to each SDK.
