Subtitles Website
Built a Single Page Application on NodeJS , AngualrJS and PostgreSQL. The site offers subtitles for Movies and TVs. You can browse by name, type, genre, artist or language. You can search by name or filter by category, genre, actor, director or language. The site offers 47k+ subs for 13k+ titles, hence performance was a critical part. I wrote cron jobs to scrap the movies & tv info and subs. Also, I setup phantomjs to serve JS rendered pages from server side for SEO purposes. The website is hosted on Digital Ocean, with PM2 and Nginx proxy.
