Because I love language!

I have a Master in German Language and Literature as well as in History. Additionally I also studied English Language and Literature for five years. Since 1999 I have been working in the online business. Due to my proficiency in English I was also responsible for product descriptions resp. their translation and the support of the English speaking customers. Because I want to make a new start as a freelance translator, I am looking for assignments with the focus on product descriptions and user manuals. Which does not necessarily rule out other job offers. Being a newcomer I cannnot provide you with references at the moment. Of course I am willing to translate sample texts in advance. I still learned to work more independently here. Tasks were the sales, customer care and a little bit of programming, although that is not my strength really.

Tasks were the administration of the online shop, product descriptions and sales. Rather an allround job but you learn to be flexible..
