Hello,
for a site (jewelry) that is html, I want the very same functionality (combine ring with diamond, magnify, categorize, etc):
- the pages turn in dynamic that is, header, footer, banners, sliders, featured news, testimonials, live chat (email based), etc
- wp platform with database with the existing stuff (different metal, style, diamond selection, etc) ability to categorise by price, product, etc - left sidebar, diamond categorization, etc
- shopping cart, order list, wish list, check out process (payment gateway implemented by client)
- - reproduction of the static pages like privacy policy, etc
- admin panel - cart : WP based (or other eg zen cart), extensible to get new products and all other necessary stuff to fully operate as an e-commerce platform
