Enhance a wordpress blog's appearance

I have a wordpress theme template that I want to keep, but would like some enhancements made to the way it looks. I would like: -Some square sections made rounded (can provide sample site) -A background color that transitions into another color -Category titles to show a drop down link selector when highlighted (can provide a sample site that does this) -Would like the top of site to show the background color, just as the bottom of the site does (can also provide sample site for that) -Am open to any other suggestions/improvements that will generally make the site look more professional, but not flashy or distracting Current template is showing at [url removed, login to view] Thanks for your help with this project!
