We are looking for an experienced R coder for a research project.
You bid on a small task of a project that will have three stages and probably take 2 months.
If we decide to continue the collaboration, your tasks will be to write an RMD (R script) for the following:
1) Define variables
2) Read in data and prepare data for analyses
3) Conduct analyses (mainly regressions).
You will get very detailed instructions, but we expect to hire someone who knows his/her way around in R and who doesn't need to be told how to run an OLS regression.
Ideally, this will result in a long-term working relationship to collaborate on future research projects.

This milestone is to simply define the first half of variables that we will need for the empirical analyses. I have attached a PDF with detailed instructions. Your job is to define all the variables in the PDF (only pages 7-10, and 18-21) so that we can start with the analyses.
