Python based Skype Bot:
- Must work on Linux (Fedora 15 or 16)
- Must use python 2.x line (not python 3)
- May use Skype4Py (other 3rd party libraries will be considered on a case by case basis or feel free to create one)
- At least one nominal unit test to be included with code base for each API below (use Python's unittest or nose modules)
Features:
- Expose simple API for sending a message to an individual or into a group chat
e.x. sendMessage(recipient, messagetext) where recipient is the skype name or group chat identifier
- Expose API to register callback functions to watch conversations for lists of key strings.
e.x. registerCallback(listOfChats, listOfKeystrings, callbackFx)
- listOfChats is a list like ['foo', 'bar', 'baz']
- listOfKeystrings is a list like ['tree', 'trim', 'contact:tree:']
- callbackFx is like fxCreateContact
- if any of the strings in listOfKeystrings is mentioned in any of the conversations in listOfChats, then the function referenced by callbackFx is called with the chat name, keystring referenced, sender, and full message text where the key string was mentioned as args. ex. fxProperName(chat, keystring, sender, msgbuf)
