The ideal solution would be a function or collection of functions that I can add to the existing class I have built for the Gmail API that will allow me to prepare the mails to be RFC 2822 compliant and base64 url encoded as per gmails requirement (from plain or html content), add attachments where needed, produce the format required by the API, connect to the selected users account (via the service account preferably) and send the mail on their behalf.
