Need help with basix Wix functions

Hi guys I have just created a personal blog and am looking for someone to help me tweek a few things that I couldn't figure out for myself through Google (e.g. linking blog posts to a separate page so they don't reload underneath my home page header and editing what appears in my navigation menu as not all pages/sections actually show up in my "pages" when editing) Super super basic, I just can't work it out for myself.
Interested in quotes to see if its worth the trouble or just leaving the site how it is.
