IMPROVE WEBSITE - open to bidding

I got feedback from a friend that I need to have following things done to my website [url removed, login to view]

Here are my thoughts along with some SEO analysis results. Hopefully this is helpful information. The site looks good, but has a few issues that probably should be resolved for maximum usability and search performance:

logo

The logo is 318x230, but is being scaled on the browser to 150x108. This results in a logo with slightly "pixelated" appearance, rather than the clean crisp look the original logo has.

favicon

The favicon is a stretched version of the "IMA", and probably should retain the same aspect ratio as the actual logo for consistency.

responsive

As the browser height gets smaller, the "receive investor..." buttons push up against the menu bar

As the browser is sized to a mobile device width, the "receive..." buttons overlap each other and cover most of the image.

As the browser is sized to a mobile device width, the slide show gets too small to really ready, the lines of slider text overlap each other. Also, a white area opens up below the image and above the footer.

I recommend making the slider disappear at a certain width, and just informational and simple graphics be displayed.

Articles format funny when you go to mobile. The date overlaps the image.

You should have a clickable "call now" link that is present for mobile mode, so a user can quickly touch the phone icon in your header and have their phone dial your office.

menu

Some of the top level menu items don't have a corresponding page, some do not. In general, you should use one approach or the other No link is currently preferable since there is no "rollover" for moblie, the user can only click to expand the menu. The links that don't go anywhere actually reload the current page, which is not ideal.

The shaded 3d effect and rounded corners on the search box are considered to be unfashionable currently.

I don't think you need an "IMA" link in the menu bar.

footer

The copyright year is wrong and should be dynamic so you don't have to update it each year.

There is a small square appearing below the copyright.

It's important to have your address and phone number in the footer for both users and search engines.

I recommend a site terms and conditions and privacy statement - especially for your industry.

Interior pages

Look very nice and contain lots of good content.

Contact page

Phone numbers should be call links for mobile

email should be a mailto link (or be removed completely if you are getting spam)

I would request phone number or email. Some people like to be called back, some people don't.

Email validaiton and required fields worked, however I was able to submit with a single letter for name, the same value for subject, and a message that contains a hyperlink. If you start receiving spam submissions, I would improve your form validation.

social media

fb, twitter, and linkedin icons only reload the current page

cms

wordpress - good. If you want me to take a look at your config, I would be happy to do so.

seo

I don't see that google analytics tracking is active. I would do this.

Your [url removed, login to view] doesn't look right.

your yslow report shows a grade of D (see below). A few basic improvements could push this score to an A or B, which would substantially impact your search traction.

I ran a SEO optimization report (below) with recommendations for improvement. Some of these are big, but can be fixed easily.

- in addition the pop up needs to be improved

- and seo changes that my friend mentioned have to be implemented
