Fill and Sync Product-Database from 2 XML-Files

Two existing 3rd-Party XML-Files (List of Products with Descriptions, Prices, etc) will be provided.
The contents of the XML-Files should be imported into a MySQL-Database via a PHP Script.
The Script will also match the Products that appear in both XML-Files
At some point a newer version of the XML-Files will be available, the script should then Synchronize the contents with the existing products in the DB:
Add the product+content to the DB if the product doesnt exist in the DB and mark it as new
Change the content if the product already exists in the DB (eg Product has a new Price) and mark it as updated
Mark the content as obsolete if the product exists in the DB, but no more in the XML File
- The Database design should allow to extend the System in the future with further sources.
- It shall be possible to limit the Import/Syncing to Products that match certain Keywords in the Title or Description
