Oscommerce change to product edit program

We need to change our [url removed, login to view] program. Currently it is displaying images (small, medium, large as well as additional images; small and large and we have added a few more cover and brochure images), we would like to not display the images, but have the option to display images as the displaying of the images(we still want the ability to edit the file name), some of which are large 300 dpi files that are 8MB or more, is taking too much time to load.
Also we want to add to the program a few other fields for editing that we have added to the products table, specifically, products_adgregate and products_youtube_id, as well as add fields from another table to edit, products_to_allied (be able to edit all 19 fields from that file) and from the table, products_adgregate (2 fields).
