I had someone (on here) write me a queuing script.
Basically what it does is creates 10 spawns of the program.
For each spawn, it will do this.
- SELECT from the mysql database
- Send the mysql data to a website via curl
- Insert the results from the webserver into another database
- Delete the record from the original database
It will keep doing this... I need some things fixed, all related to the mysql portion.
1) Right now, it selects and inserts from the same database. I need that fixed, it needs to select from a different database (on another machine) and then insert on another one so there's two different databases.
2) Currently it locks a table for who knows what reason, the developer said so other spawns don't take the "record" again... However that needs to be fixed. As soon as it selects from the data, it needs to delete that same record, THEN send it to the web server, and then insert the webserver result.
Thats it -- Pretty simple.
