Responsibilities:- Uses advanced knowledge in the creation, preparation, and conduct of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts. - Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology to resolve questions during the testing process. - May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project. - Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements / use cases and functional specification documents. - Uses knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving complex test problems. - Participates in planning and directing quality assurance schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections. - Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects. Documents all phases of QA process. - Researches new products and industry methodologies and provide inputs in the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.- May be responsible for designing and distributing training materials. - Cross train less senior analystsMinimum Qualifications:• 3+ years’ Experience in batch testing and UI web-based application testing; Perform backend validation testing; Proficient SQL and UNIX commands; • 2+ years Experience in leading a project that includes creating estimates (sizing), managing a project’s QA deliverables; • 5+ years of proven QA testing experience and analytical skills; • 2+ years experience in testing interfaces via batch processes with other applications;• 2+ years experience using Quality Center;• 2+ years experience using Clear Quest;• Strong written and verbal communication skills;• Experience with Toad or SQL Developer, Hummingbird/Attachmate Reflection• Knowledge of Bill Payments / Payment Systems and/or Banking is a plus;• Successfully lead a project-
