We are in a requirement to build a tech tool that will strengthen our Data Feed Management
module (“DFM”) through product content syndication, optimisation and distribution. Client’s product information is spread across multiple sales channels (marketplaces/web-stores etc), Digital Asset Management Systems and Google Spreadsheets.
The DFM tool is supposed to bring in data from all these sales channels and unify
it as a single source of truth. Any changes that the users want to make to their data should be
done here and it will be reflected across all the channels immediately.
Data import channels could be :
1. Sales Channels - Marketplaces, Web-stores etc
2. Digital Asset Management Systems
3. Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, CSV, FTP etc.
Data export channels could be :
1. Sales Channels - Marketplaces, Web-stores etc
2. Digital Asset Management System
3. Marketing Channels - Affiliate, Social etc
4. Google Spreadsheets, Microsoft Excel, CSV, FTP etc.
The tool’s aim is to -
1. Consolidate product related data from various channels at a predetermined frequency channel
wise.
2. Enrich the data
3. Publish optimised data across channels
4. Improve product feed consistency and visibility and therefore
5. Increased sales
