Importing and exporting of trading/financial market data to CSV/Tab delimited and Metatrader 4 formats

This project is intended as a starting point for an on-going relationship for the development of components related to trading/financial markets. The candidate we choose will have on-going work if they can complete the task specified below within a reasonable time-frame and budget. The candidate should possess some knowledge in the field of financial markets (retail) and will have knowledge of various retail trading platforms such as Ninjatrader, Metatrader, Amibroker and so forth.
As a entry project, we would like potential candidates to quote on the development of .NET code that will perform the following:
- Import a CSV, tab or similar file format into pre-defined data structures.
- Import Metatrader 4 data files into pre-defined data structures.
- Export (persist) the data from the internal data structures to CSV and Metatrader 4 files.
- Provide a suitable set of unit test cases to ensure the framework works as expected.
You will be provided with a basic framework for creating your code (such as the data structures to load the data into and the interface to implement).
Some points to note:
- We are interested in a continued working relationship (on a project-by-project basis) with the successful candidate.
- We would like to have one-on-one communication with the successful candidate via Skype or phone to discuss ad-hoc requirements (which can be charged on an hourly basis).
- We would like the candidate to have very good written and spoken English.
