Android voice recorder - draw waveform

I am developing a voice recording app for Android. I have made the interface and done basic setup of buttons, plus recording and playback functions in Android Studio using AudioRecord, but it needs a more skilled programmer. I initially need a freelancer to help with the more complex parts of the app, including low-level audio development.
The current functionality in the app I want to achieve:
a) code recording/playback functions and supply accurate timecode variable which I can connect to the interface. The transport functions should work as expected, similar to many other recording apps out there.
b) draw and save waveform data (this should be visible while recording).
c) adjust mic input sensitivity using slider control.
If this part of the project is successful I would like to proceed further with accurate audio metering and further advanced functionality. Please reply with first line 'soundstone'. The project is currently hosted on Bitbucket.
