Stripe for magento 1.9 giving error for googlepay "please check shipping address information, please enter the telephone number"

the issue is that our stripe for magento 1.9 is giving error for googlepay in express checkout only (on product page only) i have contacted stripe support and they advised that they can not test as it is live environment.

In this file, if you search for "addData($shippingAddress)", you will find a number of places where the Google Pay shipping address that comes from the browser, is saved on the Magento quote. You can add some debugging statements to find out if the phone number is passed correctly to Magento."
i have attached error screenshot and the file they are reffering to.
i have checked and make sure in google pay we have phone number but our magento is not fetching it.
