Artificial Solutions is now looking for a FRELANCE DEVELOPER with strong experience in creating, developing and programming web-based UI solutions

Based in our Barcelona office, you will focus on UI development with the purpose of creating our groundbreaking next generation natural language processing (NLP) platform. You will work inside the R&D department together with a dynamic multi-cultural and international team of developers and computational linguists. You will be expected to actively participate in the platform and interface design. You should be able to work well within an agile environment.

The position will focus upon:

Participation in the design and development of our new innovative NLP platform. We expect you to be critical, yet open-minded.

Design, develop and maintain innovative and powerful UI¿s. Interact with users of the platform ¿ learn and improve the interface design. The users of the platform will be your principal [url removed, login to view] will be an expert on the following areas:

Proficient in Ajax and JavaScript (better with JQuery and/or prototype specific knowledge)

Expert with HTML and XHTML technology

Expert on CSS technology

Expert on building code that support several browser (Firefox/ie/crome/safary/etc)

Some years of experience developing JavaScript web applications

Meriting skills/experience:

Good command of:

Groovy

Flash

JUnit, integration testing

ASP, JSP

Apache Tomcat, Sun Glassfish

Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL

Netbeans

TTS/OCR

Agile development

Personal Skills:

Ability to work well both alone and within a larger team
