I am looking for a JAVA developer who can help me with reading PDF files. The specific functionality I need the developer to implement is extracting text from PDFs.
The developer will primarily work with scanned PDFs.
Once the text is extracted, it will need to be formatted further. So, the extracted text will need to be processed and formatted.
Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Strong knowledge of JAVA
- Experience with working with PDF files
- Experience with text extraction
- Knowledge of formatting text

Please confirm if you can deliver as per details below.
Create a JAVA code to do below -
1. Read PDF files from a local Folder
2. Convert each scanned PDF file to Searchable PDF and save in same Folder with name as <Original File Name>[login to view URL]
3. Read Each Searchable PDF and Extract Text and store the output in CSV file in same Folder with name as <Original File Name>_csv.pdf. All PDF files have exactly same format and text is in English language. The rules to extract text from PDF files and mapping to CSV columns will be provided. Also, two sample PDFs will be provided for development and testing.
The deliverable will be JAVA code that can be setup in Eclipse at my end can be tested using Sample PDF files provided.
