Small project: Having trouble with this WP theme - editing the "home page" doesn't actually change it

I need you to edit the theme or somehow fix this so that when I edit the "home" page the actual content of that page shows up properly. Right now if I make changes to it, nothing is changed on the public facing part of the site. All other pages work fine and can be edited. I think this is a problem with the theme, but I need to keep it.
