I would like to use the format of one of these 5s posters, but change the pictures to food.
Here are some quick ideas
Sort - Go through work areas and eliminate all unnecessary tools, parts and instructions. Keep only essential items for specific tasks. Red Tag items for leadership review before removal.
We can have 3 steaks, 3 shrimp, 3 sodas grouped together
Set - Arrange tools, parts and instructions in such a way that most frequently used items are the easiest and quickest to locate and return after use.
The same pics but have the shrimp in a pot, steaks over a fire and the sodas on ice.
Shine - Clean the work-space and all equipment. Regularly keep it clean, tidy and organized on a shift by shift basis.

Standardize - All workstations for a particular job should be identical. All employees doing the same job should be able to work in any station with the same tools that are in the same location in every station.

Sustain - Maintain and review standards by preforming audits to ensure the workforce is following processes and improve upon processes as needed.
