Our site is a portal site for towns in Ireland. On the site homepage the user first selects a town, and is then brought to a homepage for that town.
Within each town there are the following pages:
1. Town Homepage
2. Business Listings Page
3. Classified Listings Page (similar to business listings)
4. Events Calendar Page
5. Deals Page (similar to business listings)
6. News Page (feed from Google News API)
7. Gallery Page (showing images)
8. Map (Google Maps integration)
I have attached the current design for the town homepage.
A user can register and login to add content to the above sections 2, 3, 4 and 7.
There should also be positions available on the pages for banner ads.
The current site design works quiet well on large screens, but was not built to be responsive for smaller screens. The current design has been in place for over 4 years, so we are interested in presenting the current information within a new design.
We have a developer who we will continue to work with, we are looking for a designer to provide new HTML/CSS/JavaScript files to be integrated by our developer.
We are interested in forming a good relationship with a web designer/front-end developer as there will be ongoing work on this project and other projects coming.
Of course the quality of work is very important to us and the next most important thing is communication; we expect regular, clear and professional communication from people we work with.
