WHY I STARTED RUNNING FACEBOOK ADS WITH BROAD TARGETING
I remembered some few years back when I began to tell people to make their audience a bit broad while running their Facebook campaign.
I remembered many people going to the comment section and lecturing me on how my method doesn't work and why potential reach should be very streamlined to the barest minimum so that it can reach the ideal customers. As someone that doesn't argue, I just let them be.
The below picture reminds me of the exact same principle I did employ before and do employ.
The more people that interact with your advert, the more the chances of you making sales.
If 1,000 people interacted with a campaign, there is higher chance of you making sales than another campaign that got about 600 interactions.
I am not saying this rule works all the time. But I can assure you that it works 90% of the time.
I always believe that the money is in the number and I still believe that.
Some people have in time past said things like: what I am interested in is getting quality leads.
Let me tell you the truth: Nigerian traffic is weak compared to tier one countries.
In as much as you are trying to get quality leads, don't forget that " the money in the number".
If your so called quality lead is very small, my dear it will affect your business so badly. You also need to be mindful of the numbers you need because not all your so called quality leads will end up buying from you.
One of the factors I consider while running ads is called
CLICK THROUGH RATE ( CTR)
This is the ratio of people who saw your advert to the ratio of people who interacted with it.
So I constantly ask myself, how can i increase the quantity of the people interacting with this advert without reducing the quality.
After several deliberations, I came to one conclusion
STORIES
You see, one of the easiest ways to get interaction to any campaign is by using stories.
I really don't call myself a copyrighter, I prefer calling myself a storyteller.
You must have heard of the adage :Stories sells
That's completely true.
You will be so much amazed at the level of interaction stories on social media get whenever they are posted.
Using stories in your adverts will go along way not only to bring attention to a campaign but also to bring a interested people.
This is one of my major ways of bringing interaction to a campaign.
