Configuring of WishList Member and opt-in email

My site is on the wordpress platform and uses the wishlist member plugin to tie in with clickbank. I am also using the Subscribe2 plugin to send an email to paying subscribers when a new post is created.
My challenge is in how to handle cancellation requests to insure that the user is not re-billed and stops receiving access to view the posts and stops receiving email of new posts. I'm told by the Wishlist member staff that I need just cancel from with Wishlist but just recently a cancelled subscriber was re-billed which resulted in a chargeback.
Additinally, I'm looking for the right email opt-in / marketing solution. I'm currently trying out [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], and G-Lock easy mail. At this point, I'm leaning towards YourMailingListProvider.
Only providers with extensive experience and understanding of the Wishlist member plugin will be considered. Additionally, if you're very familiar with YMLP, that's a real plus.
