code a python script to check http proxy for Centos 5.9 (64bits) server

I need a python programmer to write a simple multithreaded python script that will pull some http proxies from some web and ftp sources and check them using a simple criteria I will provide. I would like the python script capable to checking 1000 proxies at a time. Also, the new linux kernel so_reuseport option can be used to speed up the checking.
