To create some code for a PIC micro to create an 8-channel pulse counter IC. Where each channel has a 32bit counter. The counters should be read/reset via a Serial/Modbus interface.

There should be 2 minor revisions of code 1) RS485 serial ASCII interface and 2) standard Modbus RTU interface.
