Batch file fix for windows 8 and 8.1

am reposting this as I uploaded the wrong file previously -
I have a batch file (attached as text file) which seems to work ok in Windows 7, but am having issues with files not being copied when the batch file is run on Windows 8 or 8.1
Need the batch file to work on both systems without issue.
Should be a simple 5-minute fix for someone knowledgable.

Hello I think i know what the problem is. Is it showing Access Denied error?. I think you should just right-click and run it as administrator. Or just try replacing xcopy with Robocopy.
