We have had major Windows failure on a dedicated Dell server leased from an ISP provider. The ISP Support say they cannot recover data prior to reformatting the hard disk drives and re-installing Windows 2003.
We are aware their engineers have taken some steps to recover, but we are seeking an expert who may succeed where they failed. The ISP have enabled Dell DRAC on the server. Please respond only if you are familiar with Dell DRAC and emergency recovery.
## Deliverables
(1) Sucessfully access the Dell server via DRAC as per instructions from the ISP. Details will be provided. (2) Review and assessment of whether it is possible to fix the server without complete re-install of Windows OS. We want a "second opinion" independent of the ISP technical support team. (3) Recovery of files from the D: partition including database backup files and website ASP files. Details will be provided.
