Automatic PDF Page Extract and Rename

I have hundreds of large pdf files. Each of these is composed of 25 individual documents of varying lengths. Though the the 25 documents are the same for each pdf file, the number of pages per document varies. I am tasked with splitting up each of these pdf files into their 25 component documents. The way I have been doing this is by (i) opening the pdf file in Acrobat, (ii) selecting all of the pages for one of the component documents (iii) dragging the selected pages into the desired destination directory, creating an "untitled extract [login to view URL]" file, and then (iv) renaming the document according to the document type. I'd like a program which would allow me to extract, appropriatly rename and save these files. Documents would be saved to user specified directory. Documents would be renamed depending upon where pages dragged from Acrobat are dropped on the program GUI. and where on the program the pdf pages are dragged and dropped. In other words, the documents would be renamed based upon where they were dragged and dropped on the application. Is such a solution possible? Drag and drop directly from Acrobat would be ideal, but not required of the solution.
