Create a layout to redesign a single page

Here's the deal: I run a site that offers various information about bands, their albums, songs, etc. That's fine and all, but we're starting to hit information overload... way too much information, not enough space to "cleanly" display it all. As an example, see here: [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] Note that there's also a "Your Lists" box and a comment input form that you can't see unless you sign up. Also note that only the actual content needs to be updated; the sidebar, header, and footer will remain as is. Anywho, see how it's all crowded together and looks like a bit of a mess? That's what I want changed, but I'm strapped for ideas as to how to change it. This is where you come in. I'll send you the template file (it uses the Smarty template system), you come up with something that looks slick while keeping all of the information in place, and we'll both be happy. Requirements: 1) The page is currently W3C compliant, and I'd like to keep it that way. The only exception to this would be if you want to use something that can not be validated perfectly (ie, flash). 2) Your code should be "clean" - this means indented lines, spacing, etc. I'll almost certainly have to edit it later on down the road, so your logic ("this div opens here, contains this, closes there") should be easy to follow. 3) New graphics are not required for this project, but if you'd like to make some, feel free. Alternatively, you could describe what you need and I could provide it to you (my wife handles the graphics, so I can whip up anything you may need). 4) Most importantly, all of the information should be kept on this page. Some fancy show/hide CSS stuff would be accepted, but it should all remain on this page and in this file. Please include a general description of what you plan to do with the layout with your bid - I may not know what I want, but I'm still sort of picky ;)

Update the page I send you with your layout. 1) Should be W3C compliant and display properly in both Firefox and IE. 2) Code should be clean. 3) All information should be kept. 4) Layout should be approved by me.
