Browser Helper Object (BHO) and small 3 table DB

Coder needed to develop a search engine - related Browser Helper Object (BHO). The app will be a locally running DLL that will interact with local user's IE and also with a remote server DB. MySQL will be used for DB on W2k Advanced Server box. Communication protocol will be tcp/ip via http. In general, app will recognize search queries sent to specific search engines (specified in server DB), and will silently send identical queries to search engines specified in the server DB. Results from the silent queries will be displayed in the local user browser with the same layout/color/display as the original search engine page in place of the results returned by the original engine. No installation/uninstallation specifics are required in the design, just the DLL and server DB (3 tables & web-viewable). Language of choice is C++ for speed and size. IE development proficiency required, along with TCP/IP and http skills. MySQL/DB experience helpful. Will also need to install a simple freeware web portal package on IIS server.
