Compare two ios app builds and help to activate hidden menu

I have two builds of an enterprise iOS app.

One earlier build, includes an additional menu item in a sliding drawer that has been disabled in the later build.

The underlying code for the missing menu item exists, but it does not visually appear in the drawer.

I'm looking for help to identify what between the builds causes this to be disabled, and if it's possible to re-enable the menu in the later build by updating a value or file.

Note - to clarify I do not have the source of this project. Just two compiled builds. What I am requesting is for someone to look at these .app payloads and hopefully help to identify a value in a plist or nib or similar that might be causing the deactivation - through reverse engineer.
