Linux DVB expert to make RF and Blind scan from USB tuner
$250-750 USD

I have the Prof Tuner 7500 USB tuner that works amazing in windows, and works great in Linux. In windows there is software called crazy scan, that can scan frequencies and show them on screen, and output them to .jpg file. I need someone to make a linux version of the same application, but to work in console. I dont need a GUI. The goal of this is to scan RF from the USB tuner and to output this data so that it can be used on a web page. See attached image. Next is that I need to be able to blind scan all the frequencies in the given range, so that we can add those transponders to our database. Then after that is done, the device needs to lock on to each frequencies and output all the transport stream information to file, so that it can be sent to database.
In current DVB Linux stack only supports maximum 8 USB tuner devices, but I need it to be more. If you google it, you can find out how to change it and recompile to 12.
I will give you access to a system where you can test and configure what is needed.
You will need to provide full instructions or install script to be able to replicate this on other machines.
Step 1 milestone 1 release:
Do RF scan from USB tuner and create output JPG
Step 2:
Configure for 12 USB devices
Step 3 milestone release:
Blind scan of frequencies, and output all information from each transponder, to file, so that it can be added to database.
Step 4 milestone 2 release:
Provide all information to replicate installation on other machines.
Please read this. If you dont, I will mark your bid as fake/abuse.
If you don't have experience, don't waste my time.
