We need an illustrator to design 3 main characters and provide 5 "cartoons" which will be made up of a few frames each.

The description below is for 4 frames, and we will need more all from the same style/artist for a total of 250$ (frames below and for the coming up frames too which will use exactly the same characters).

These visuals will appear in a publication aimed at refugee professionals working with Sexual and Gender Minorities Refugees.

Depiction of the “Parallel Process” phenomenon from modern psychology:

Parallel process is a phenomenon recognized by modern psychology whereby patterns of interactions in one relationship are adopted and later emulated in another. In an application of parallel process, trainees who been engaged genuinely and respectfully by openly LGBT trainers will not only be more comfortable with those trainers; they will also treat LGBT refugees with respect and genuineness. In other words, what others do unto you, you will do unto others.

Please depict these relationships in cartoon figures as follows in four frames:

FRAME 1 (Training Scene – Focus on Trainer):

An African female LGBT person is the trainer. She is training 5 trainees. She says “You will be treated with deep respect here, regardless of your opinions and feelings about SOGIE”. An Asian male trainee is wearing a bright green buttoned shirt.

FRAME 2 (Training Scene – Focus on Trainees):

Trainees are of different races, mixed sexes. They are wearing shirts of various solid colors. Among them is the trainee (male - Asian) in the bright green buttoned shirt. He is thinking about what the trainer said. He thinks “So I’m safe even if I don’t agree”.

FRAME 3 (Interview Scene – Focus on Interviewer):

The trainee wearing the bright green shirt (male - Asian) is sitting behind a desk with a computer monitor. Make sure it’s clear he’s the same one. He is interviewing a male middle eastern LGBT refugee, who is sitting across from him in front of the desk. To depict that the refugee is LGBT, he is wearing a rainbow stripe shirt. The interviewer says (in cartoon bubble): “You are completely safe here. You can tell me anything at all.”

FRAME 4 (Interview Scene – Focus on Refugee):

The refugee (male - Middle Eastern) in the rainbow short listens carefully to the interviewer. He thinks “He’s saying it’s safe to be gay here”.
