Android App Icon Set For Plugin-Featured Alarm App

I am developing an alarm application which requires a user to complete a task in order to shut the alarm off. There are 3 simple tasks that I built into the application but I built in a simple plugin architecture so that 3rd party developers could implement their own alarm plugins using existing apps (for example, a Sudoku game developer could easily plugin to my alarm architecture to have a user solve a sudoku puzzle before the alarm is disabled).
I'm looking to have a set of icons made to make my app more appealing on the Android market. The main icon and promotional graphics need to visually demonstrate that the alarm is versatile. I initially went with the idea of having it look like a swiss-army knife but I'm open to ideas on how to demonstrate that visually. The other icons simply need to be functional and not overly flashy.
Please adhere to the recommended practices provided by Google for design. If you have worked on graphic design for Android apps that's a huge plus but if not it won't prevent you from getting the job. Either way please review the recommended practices provided by the Android team:

Here's a list of the icons I need designed:
Launcher Icon:
This is the icon I need to demonstrate the alarm's versatility. It also needs to stand out somewhat against the built-in android alarm icon (and other front-facing alarm icons) to distinguish it as something different. A hybrid alarm-clock/swiss army knife is my original idea but I will consider any other suggestions.
Sizes: 36 x 36 px 48 x 48 px 72 x 72 px 96 x 96 px 512 x 512 px
Promotional and Feature Graphic:
A graphic which will include the text 'Never Snooze Again'. This graphic and the feature graphic I will give the most artistic license to the designer. It needs to be striking and once again demonstrate the versatility of the alarm.
Promotional Size: 180w x 120h
Feature Size: 1024 x 500
Status Bar Icon:
Simple icon that resembles an alarm clock that will appear in the notification bar when an alarm is triggered. Can be similar to the launcher icon but I like the KISS principal with this one.

Enable/Disable button:
A simple graphic which will visually show that an alarm is enabled or disabled in the list of alarms.

Please also download and test the app out for yourself. Your input is valuable and I consider it essential that the designer try the app out before they design an icon set for it.
