We need to design a media player hardware using ARM processor, i.e. create schematics, PCB Layout & create a complete BOM for manufcatring the product.
Basic hardware requirenments (we are just looking for hardware design as we'd be running our own software to run the unit):
1. No moving parts
2. As cheap as possible
3. Must work without remote (i.e. direct button operation)
4. Must support RCA composit and HDMI, opetional component, optional VGA
5. Must support audio via HDMI
6. Must have WIFI and ethernet
7. Solid stat storage 8GB to 16GB
8. Solid rugged casing, moisture and dust resistant.
Please let me know if you have worked on similar project(s) and what type of uProcessor / memory you will be using in this design and also any other details you can include will be helpful in making the decision.
