I need someone to help me do some data entry on an Excel file.
What must be found is the number of shares for every company.
In the column "E", you will find the company code. You need to use the internet links in column G or the link in cell "F1" to find the number of outstanding shares on the internet page and insert them into the Excel file.

For instance, to do the first company on the top row (line 2).
Using the above link:
You click on the internet link on "F1".
Then copy the cell "E2" and paste the company code into the "fast search" range.
Then click "search".
Then in the column "format", look for "interactive data". Click "documents" next to "interactive data" if the filing is 10-K or 10-Q or 20-F in the first column. Please choose the first line that meets these conditions, while looking from top to bottom.
Click "Next 40" when you can't find it on this internet page.
Click in the first document, in column "document", first line: "[login to view URL]"
In the document, look for the number of shares (in the first page).
Check the date of the number of shares: if the date is BEFORE 1st March 2016, that's the RIGHT number and type it into excel (column "J")
If the date is AFTER 1st March 2016, that's the WRONG number, go back twice, to the filings list (where you choose the 10-K or 10-Q line).
Look down and look for the previous "Interactive data" line, with 10-K or 10-Q or 20-F on the same line again.
Please choose the first line that meets these conditions, while looking from top to bottom.
Click on "documents", then click on the first document again. then look for the number of shares again. Check that the date of the number of shares is BEFORE the 1st of March 2016.
Insert the number of shares into excel (column J)
Then go to line 3 and start again.
