The idea is from a given mp4 video file, detect when an TV advertise / commercial starts and stops. And then split the original video into different files.

So the criteria to split the video into small video files are:

- Number of frames in black, scene changing AND in audio silence could be use for this.

Script has to run on linux

Input could be "[url removed, login to view] test_video"

And the output:

[url removed, login to view] (commercial 1)

[url removed, login to view] (commercial 2)

[url removed, login to view] (commercial 3)

etc..

Programming language can be c/c++, or python. OpenCV could be required for this.
