Contest Brief

I (Andre Dixon) am one of six members of a volunteer group based in Dayton, Ohio. The mission statement of the group follows.

"The Foundation consists of retired Air Force and civilian professionals who are dedicated to passing on their various experiences and expertise to young people (or anyone), which will enable them to become more knowledgeable, productive, and successful citizens."

Our group started in early 2018. We are NOT a 501c (not for profit group. We are a volunteer group. We receive no fee for our service. We meet (almost) every Saturday at the Dayton Metro Library in Huber Heights, Ohio, and speak to patrons who are interested in the experience we offer for free. Patrons usually want to talk about debt reduction, financial literacy education and investing, real estate investing, life skills education, and home-based business creation.

We have created a Facebook page for The Success Center Foundation.

On limited funds (for this simple project we require project pricing) what I am looking for is a flyer/brochure that is ENGAGING! Our group was told that our flyer/brochure is NOT ENGAGING. I am including our current flyer that is a PowerPoint file. I want two examples of a flyer that is ENGAGING, by rearranging/excluding/including our photos/text by using your design skills, which I am lacking. Once I have your two different examples of ENGAGING flyers I will review them with my group to get their assessments of the proposed new flyers. We may move forward with more changes/work after we see what you come up with.

My list of skills --> Engaging and creative use of colors and our circularized photos (like in LinkedIn); engaging positioning of readable text and our photos; imagery that is inspirational/feel good; fits on a 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper.

“It's been great to work with Bisnu Chandra R. My group of six members needed a redesign of our "not very engaging" flyer, and he came up with the design that my group believed was the best, so we awarded Bisnu the prize. Bisnu made prompt changes to the contest version of our redesigned flyer, and with those changes incorporated we are ready to print copies to hand out to visitors, and retire our original flyer and replace it with the new flyer where the old flyer it is currently posted. We look forward working with Bisnu on changes we want made to the new flyer, and possibly new design work.”
