Contest Brief

I have an operational site that needs some updating both to make it more visually appealing. The site is currently operational running Word Press which I am happy with and would like to continue.

The purpose of this project is to provide a mockup of your proposed site (main page). I will want to have some minimal advertising at some point on the site so please suggest locations keeping in mind I don’t want a bloated site. The design I pick will get first chance to provide me a competitive quote for the implementation of the site in my existing Word Press installation.
My desire is to give you some creative liberty with the site design and not have to ultimately spend a lot of time on this myself. I have posted this as a project previously and am hoping that I get some good responses here instead as previously I have not seen something that gets me excited about working with someone to accomplish my goal for a refresh.
