Contest Brief
The company has operated for 20 years. The current logo the same as the company name (ExecuThink) and has a descriptor to describe what it does. There is no image, only a logotype. Successful as it has been, the name is long and often difficult to say, even by english first-language speakers. The requirement is to create a fresh image which more clearly depicts what the company stands for now, with fewer words, shorter eyespan and representative colours. Instead of using the company name as a logotype, it should be shortened to "Think". Provision should be made for a descriptor which could be either "BUSINESS" or "ENTERPRISE". In recent years this South African company has increasingly focused on environmental well-being, green business, circular economy and blue economy. Accordingly the main colour should change to an aquamarine colour (not ocean blue which is too dead) and represent fresh green shoots of a sustainable economy. A good logo would not contain too much detail but will also define different elements clearly. The new logo will depict this consulting company as environmentally-friendly, business-orientated and interested in sustainability. The logo should consider that it will occupy space on the face of a business card, be used on websites and internet/mobile media and also on stationery. The current website uses a WordPress theme. Insofar as it is possible, continuity with the existing logo would be helpful to maintain a link with previous imagery ... that is the art. It is a very small company but has been recognisable to its clientele for a long time. If you are able to consider the existing logo and rework it as per this request, then please share your idea. Regrettably at the end of the day I will have to choose only one design, which will be in force probably for the next 20 years.

Employer Feedback
“Good interpretation of requirements, very willing to communicate even late at night. I will certainly work with her again because she is able to translate my strategic vision to a visual reality.”
