<Technology Description>
This technology improves safety when the driver falls asleep and the vehicle lightly collides with a curb or the like. One of the problems that can occur when the driver falls asleep while driving is that the vehicle may lightly collide with the curb or the like, and then strongly collide with another parked car. Safety is ensured by automatic braking the vehicle when the vehicle lightly collides with the curb or the like. However, when the vehicle collides with the curb or the like, the driver wakes up and operates the steering wheel on his/her own. In some cases, the driver may be trying to avoid a collision with the other parked vehicle, but if the vehicle is automatically braked too forcefully, the driver may be unable to control the steering wheel. In some cases, the driver may fall asleep to a slight degree and wake up when the car lightly collides with a curb or other object.
