<Technology Description>
This technology is a technology to improve a cleaning effect when the sensor surface of the external sensor mounted on the vehicle is cleaned with the cleaning liquid. One of the problems that can be anticipated when the sensor surface of the external sensor mounted on the vehicle is cleaned with the cleaning liquid, once dirt such as mud adhering to the sensor surface has dried and settled, it is difficult to remove the dirt even when the cleaning liquid is sprayed. To solve this problem, this technology estimates a water droplet amount of a water droplet adhering to the sensor surface, and starts the cleaning based on the water droplet amount.
