Contest Brief

I need a logo developed for a events business called Lux Events.
It's primarily for weddings however does all event types.

I need the logo to be simple yet elegant. I had the idea to have a L and E in the logo with the L going through the E make the L and E linked. So the long part of the L goes through the centre line in the E.

Be creative with the rest of tge design but i would like everything in black and gold so letter in gold with black background.
