Contest Brief

Hello, my name is Chris Kapono and my business name is MandarinMoon and I am a polymer clay artist looking to create a brand and expand my business from a part time business/hobby to a full fledged business. If you search MandarinMoon (all one word) on flickr, deviantART and facebook, you can get a sense of my style and what I do.

I am looking for a simple logo that is influenced by my style and will look good in color and black and white. I want to use it for business cards, social media, packaging (boxes and stickers) and I would like to create a small stamp that I can emboss into my work as a signature.

I do want some type of graphic design unique to me. I am not looking for anything already being used by someone else or merely text. Please check out my work, you will see that it is not precise and flows in curls. Although most of what I do is abstract, there is much influence from nature.

No disrespect but I will reject all entries that appear not to follow my design request.

    I see some artists are using logos already created for someone else. I do want something unique that no one else is already using. I am going to reject that work. I would also invite you to look at my work and allow it to influence your design. Thanks!
