Contest Brief

PLEASE READ THE BRIEF - NO MORE DOG DESIGNS PLEASE

***UPDATE: can I please stop getting redone versions of my current logo, we want a new logo not just an edit to the current one. As mentioned we want to move away from the the current one and this means:
- different colours
- no dog unless you have a cool way of referencing the current one, but it's not to be the focus
- read and think about the brief and how the design relates to it
So far all entries are very underwhelming and completely off brief which is a waste of your time and mine.**

I am looking for a logo to rebrand my advertising agency "YAP Advertising" or "YAP" for short.

We are a full service agency that specialises in automotive and retail advertising, working with Small independent franchises right up to factory owned dealerships.

Our new strapline will be among the lines of "Proudly Australia's smallest independent agency"... in contrast to the dozens of agencies that call themselves "Australia's Largest Independent Agency". We want the logo and brand to say "straight talking and honest"... no BS.

I want the logo to be grown up, clean and professional, i don't mind it being a bit fun... but not childish or immature and no bright clashy colours. The name YAP must be clearly represented.

Our current logo (attached) is a bit dated and I want to move quite a way away from it. I don't want the dog as the focus again, but would perhaps be happy to see it subtly incorporated (like a shadow of the dog). But happy for the dog to go completely.

As I say we are the small agency, but we offer big ideas, big impact, big results, big on service, big on value, big on creativity all our clients are the big fish or big dogs... we may be small but our offerings are BIG.

This will be used on websites, email, biz cards social, so wan it o stand out but not like a sore thumb.

I'm really excited to see how you interpret the brief.

Open to brand colours but nothing to bright or gaudy. If we were to give the agency a gender it would most definitely be a male.

let me know if you have any other questions that can help you.
