Contest Brief

We need a logo for our food service company. The primary product is eggs (but I can not stress enough - NO CHEESY EGG LOGOS).

Please see the mind map for the feelings.

The logo should be cool and hip - CLEVER is a bonus.
Nothing too corporate
Nothing state of the art or futuristic.

NO VECTOR SUNBURSTS or anything of the like.

Think a little rock and roll
Homegrown ..
(See the VF logo -- we sort of like this one) -- sort of!

Consider a modern Western/Texas sort of font -- but do not make this cowboy.. consider a very slight hint of western. Doesnt have to have though.

The Name of the company is (John Pond Foods)

Think of it as a cool farm - or a band that comes from a cool farm. Or a coffee shop or farm fresh restaurant.

If you're going to add a chicken or an egg - needs to be done minimal and with a lot of thought.. be clever --- otherwise keep it out.

Keep colors to a max of three (four if you feel inspired) - Burnt Orange being main color.

Target audience is Millennial, cool person who is socially engaged, environmentally aware and likes the outdoors, live music and doing business.
