  your company name is "roots" something which is under the surface of the ground.
  here in my logo #52 I made cactus and succulent above surface with green color and below the surface there are roots and soil of brown color. Major color is brown which shows that your brand is not what is above surface, it is under the surface , it is "roots" .
  
  This design is simplistic and yet delivers the message and it can be easily reproduced on any surface. In single colors it will not lose its identity like #51 and shape remain intact.
  you can also scale it down to small sizes but no detail will be lost and it will look the same.
  
  Brown is chosen as major color which looks more natural like #55 but if you want Grey works good if you want to give logo a classic and calm touch like #51 and #56 .
  
  if you want the succulent can be put on the letter S of the logo like #57.

  Here the green shows above surface greenery and Grey color is soil and land under the surface. so it looks like a cactus plant is growing in a harsh soil which has low water content yet how green it is.
  
  It is very simplistic design yet tells all the details of the business, like it is related to cactus and succulents. Also it shows that is name of business is under the surface , which is "roots" that is why most of the color of logo is grey.
  
  This logo can be easily reproduced in print and digitally because it does not have unnecessary clip arts like other logos.
  
  
  I can make some more variations if you want to. please share your views.
