Contest Brief

Hello.

We are a technology business that is about to launch. Using social media data, our business suggests events that you would like to see and attend. As part of our social media strategy, we will be creating a Pinterest Board which includes illustrations of famous historical music, sports, art and other events. We will likely create many more Boards than this in the future. We will likely also use these photos on Facebook and Twitter.

To that end, we are looking to find an illustrator whose style we like. Generally speaking, we would like fairly simple illustrations or cartoons which capture the event well. For this project, we are looking to get our first four illustrations (which will last one month). For whomever wins the contest, we will then employ you to make, at first, one illustration per week. If we have any success at all with the strategy, this number is expected increase massively, so please bear that in mind. We can agree a fee for these after you have won this contest.

The first four events that we would like you to illustrate are the following:
1. The Author of James Bond articles, Ian Fleming, is born in London
a. Some cool illustration of the character James Bond would be a good idea I think
2. The Sex Pistols play 'The gig that changed the world'...in front of only 4 dozen people
3. Alanis Morissette released Jagged Little Pill
4. Steven Spielberg's Jaws is released

Your bid should be a bid for all four illustrations. However, you may wish only to initially submit illustrations for one or two of the events, and then await feedback.

If you don't know much about the event, just research it a little on Google.

Also, in fact you don't really need any attached file - the name of our business is not relevant. Other than knowing that our target market for our Pinterest strategy is 25-35 year old middle class women, living in the West. Just keep the illustrations simple.
